Erich Petschke

The principal designer and co-owner, Erich is a licensed Landscape Contractor. In addition to his employment with McMenamins Pubs and Breweries managing various garden properties, Erich continues to pursue his passion for garden design through Sprout. With a background in developing public gardens, clients will benefit from a unique perspective honed by over eighteen years in the practicalities of garden maintenance.

Cindy Hayford

Co-owner and business manager of Sprout, Cindy assists Erich in design work and research. With a degree in Biological Conservation, she has worked in various Portland garden nurseries and a nonprofit focusing on sustainable agriculture. She continued studying horticulture through Legacy Health focusing on Universal Design in landscapes. Born and raised in the Midwest, Cindy feels passionate that everyone in the region should take advantage of our mild (and nearly mosquito-free!) climate by utilizing their outdoor space to its fullest potential.
